प्राथमिक शिक्षकों के दस दिवसीय सेवाकालीन प्रशिक्षण के छ्ठे दिन की शुरुआत शेकसपीयर समूह के प्रशिक्षणार्थियों द्वारा शानदार प्रार्थना सभा कार्यक्रम के साथ हुई । तत्पश्चात प्राचार्य/प्रशिक्षण निदेशक द्वारा कक्षा शिक्षण के दौरान शिक्षक की असफलताओं के कारणों की विवेचना की गई और उसके निवारण हेतु आवश्यक सुझाव दिये गए । इसके बाद प्रशिक्षिका श्रीमती इंदिरा रामराजू द्वारा पर्यावरण अध्ययन के प्रभावी शिक्षण हेतु आवश्यक दिशानिर्देश दिए गए और मूल्यांकन की विभिन्न तकनीकों के बारे मे बताया गया । चायकाल के बाद प्रतिभागियों द्वारा प्रभावी कक्षा शिक्षण का प्रदर्शन किया गया । दिन के अंतिम समय में फिल्म द्वारा दिखाया गया की विद्यालय मे आदर्श शिक्षक की महती भूमिका है । एक आदर्श शिक्षक के गुणों की पूजा छात्रों द्वारा सदा की जाती है।

REPORT ON THE PROCEEDINGS OF 02-01-2013
The In-service course for PRT’S entered the seventh day on 02-01-2013. The assembly programme was presented by the Premchand group in a befitting manner. The members of the group dedicated a poem to Mrs.Devakiamma K.V.No1 Trichy due for super annuation in the month of March 2013. To reciprocate, shrimathi .Devakiamma sang an inspiring self composed song to bless the participants.
The course director Mr. C. Muthaiah insisted to maintain a good rapport with the parents and suggested many ways of implementing it.
The fist guest lecture was by Shri.T.Murali ,Regional general manager,The Hindu -who was also the old student of K.V. He insisted in inculcating the habit of newspaper reading among the younger generation which would pave the way for the success in future. He gave some techniques to develop soft skills among students. He also discussed the benefits of good communication skill and analytical skill.
After the tea break, Mrs. Lata Ramachandran – KVS ICT awardee, and KVS Innovation and Experimentation awardee, KVS Incentive Awardee and a two times National Awardee – of K.V.IIT, Chennai motivated the participants to take up the task of doing innovation and experimentation in the teaching learning process. A group discussion was conducted to identify and list out the problematic areas in various subjects in actual classroom situations which can be taken as one of the theme for experimentation.
In the post lunch session teachers were made well aware on the documentation part of the innovation and experimentation. She gave brief information about the various awards given for teachers by KVS, NCERT and The government of India. The entire session ignited the minds for success and motivated the participants to plan their entries for receiving awards.
After the tea break, the demo lessons were taken on Hindi and Mathematics. The teaching techniques such as story telling to improve organizational skills, conducting relevant activities to construct knowledge, were suggested by the resource person Srimathi Laila HM K.V Pallipuram.
With this the seventh day programme of the In-service course came to an end.
The fifth day of the In service course started with the morning assembly by the EVS group. The special item dedicated to the women of India was heart touching and worth recalling. It was followed by the address of the Course Director Shri. C. Muthiah with ascintillating presentation sending a message to the present generation to show the affection between the mother and the child. Then the session was taken over by the resource person Mrs. G .Laila HM KV Pallipuram to introduce the method of conducting a group discussion in the class room. She briefed the ways of conducting a group activity in the class room situation by dividing the participants into four groups. The topic of discussion was “The optimum use of TLM fund “. It was a fruitful discussion in which the participants not only learnt to conduct a group discussion but also clarified their doubts regarding the materials that could be purchased with the TLM fund.
The post lunch session started with the Mid Test comprising of meaningful recollection of the knowledge gained and then the Demo classes by the participants. The participants used different methodologies for teaching Maths and EVS. The day came to an end with added positive and useful suggestions by the resource person for the further enhancement of the teaching learning process .
